Tiffany Torain is an attorney practicing in the areas of Immigration and Nationality law. She is admitted to practice before the Louisiana Supreme Court and is authorized to represent clients in immigration proceedings throughout the country. Ms. Torain is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the National Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association.

Tiffany Torain received her Juris Doctorate degree from the Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. During her tenure at the Law Center, she was an associate member of the Southern University Law Review and an award-winning member of the Southern University Moot Court Board. She also worked as a student attorney in the Legal Clinic, as a law Clerk for the Louisiana Senate and the Louisiana Department of Labor. Ms. Torain is also a graduate of Southern University at New Orleans where she served as President of the Junior Class and President of the Zeta Theta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Ms. Torain began her legal career as an attorney for the United States Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor, in Birmingham, Alabama. In this capacity, Ms. Torain represented the Secretary of Labor in actions that ensured the safety and protection of America’s workforce. Her clients included agencies such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), and the Office of Worker’s Compensation Programs (OWCP). Tiffany Torain later served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office in New Orleans, Louisiana where she had a 99% conviction record.

Tiffany Torain later served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Florida in the Civil Litigation Division. She represented the State of Florida and agencies thereof in law suits against the state and its officers.

Ms. Torain’s career as an Immigration Attorney began in the South Florida community when she realized the tremendous need for zealous advocacy for non-citizens. She now represents clients in numerous aspects of Immigration and Nationality Law. Her representation includes, but is not limited to family-sponsored permanent residence cards (green cards), employment based visas, student visas and removal proceedings.
