Tiffany Torain is an attorney practicing in the areas of Immigration and Nationality law. She is admitted to practice before the Louisiana Supreme Court and is authorized to represent clients in immigration proceedings throughout the country. Ms. Torain is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Louisiana State Bar Association.
Tiffany Torain received her Juris Doctorate degree from the Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. During her tenure at the Law Center, she was an associate member of the Southern University Law Review and an award-winning member of the Southern University Moot Court Board. Ms. Torain worked as a law clerk for the Louisiana Senate and the Louisiana Department of Labor.
Ms. Torain began her legal career as an attorney for the United States Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor. In this capacity, she represented the Secretary of Labor in actions that ensured the safety and protection of America’s workforce. Her clients included agencies such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), and the Office of Worker’s Compensation Programs (OWCP). Tiffany Torain later served as an Attorney for the Florida Attorney General and as an Assistant District Attorney for the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office in New Orleans, Louisiana where she received a 99% conviction record.
Tiffany Torain’s career as an Immigration Attorney began in the South Florida community when she realized the tremendous need for zealous advocacy for non-citizens. Since 2003, she has represented clients in numerous aspects of Immigration and Nationality Law including advice and assistance with business and family-sponsored petitions and representation in removal proceedings among other matters.
